Add paragraphs & lists in signup form

I am trying to create paragraphs and lists in signup form but only appears as one line. Want to make it user friendly and explain to people what they'll be getting when they signup. I try using
but nothing happens. I need to know how to do this ASAP as we want to put our form up on our website now.

Thanks for posting your feedback, I am sorry to hear of the frustrations. You can put text in the description box of the sign up form, is this where you are typing your content? Can you tell me more about what is happening when you add this content? What browser are you working in typically?
