Contact Search Engine

It is very frustrating when I have to look through my contacts via the search engine and when I go to type in the name, the search engine will be triggered by itself, mid type.  This doesn't happen every time, but it does happen with enough frequency. I would very much appreciate this error to be fixed.

I don't like the new search in contacts. It is difficult to use and will not let you edit an email that you paste into it. I have been unable to find many of my contacts.
