What browser are you currently using to browse your contact list? I tried using IE 11, Both FF and Chrome which are on the current releases and I have been unable to replicate the issue you are having. From what I could see here, it looks like you might be using IE 8, which is no longer supported by our system. Please reply to this post if you are still having trouble and please include browser type/version if possible so I can try to replicate your issue.
