It is very frustrating how you can't use multiple sibling names for the same contact. Also, if there is a contact inputted already, and the same is added or updated, then they should AUTOMATICALLY merge them into the updated version.
I am sorry for the frustration this has caused you. If you would like to add a custom field or add both names in the first name fields you can do that. The system is designed to be a CRM (customer relationship management) system where you it can be a one stop shop to manage update and maintain all your contacts. In a CRM system you can have multiple contacts with the same email address and different names or vice versa so we want to give you the option of being able to keep both and merging them both together.
