Our client list changes constantly with those that pass and new ones that get added. It would be ideal to have an option to replace a list instead of deleting and recreating each time.
On a monthly basis, I empty about 30 lists and repopulate them with new client lists. Emptying the lists one by one is very tedious and I'm prone to losing my place without extreme focus and concentration. Why not add Empty List as a mass function, like Delete and Merge?
Currently, during a file upload to an existing CC list, new contacts are added but there's no option to have missing contacts removed. Basically, we need a way to make the existing CC list be exactly what the upload file is. As it is, we have to delete the list and reupload it every time we want to "refresh" the list. Obviously, this new setting wouldn't be the default because uploading a file that only contains 10 names to an existing list that has 1000 would potentially delete the whole list and leave only the 10 names on the upload file. To explain another way, the goal is to keep a designated CC list “mirrored” and looking like an external list that we update via our in-house software. Then, uploading that list of names would both add and remove names accordingly to the CC list.
Hi @Tim7900 we're always open to ways we can better our user's experience! At this time contact lists can be replaced by manually deleting and re-adding contacts to your desired list. How would you want for your contacts to be replaced instead? How would you expect contacts to be recognized as the contacts being replaced?
Hi @Tim7900 thank you for following up with us on this feature request! We have submitted your feedback to the appropriate teams and opened up this idea so other users can weigh in as well.
At this time, we do not have plans to have a feature to replace contacts an existing list. You can upload the contacts as a new list and delete the previous one.
