Re: Big Account problem, can't add 2nd email to account

There is no 2nd email anymore.  I don't know if all the contact records with two or more emails have been broken up and separated into distinct contacts yet, but that's the plan.  You will now be responsible for changing the way you collect and upload your data, the way you edit your contacts, the way you work with exports, the way you do your reporting.  You may need to rewrite some of your organization's business rules just to accommodate this change in the database structure.

Just a few little things.

Re: Big Account problem, can't add 2nd email to account

Hello @ThomasB622,

I'm very sorry for the frustration. A communication was sent to the contact e-mail address on file letting customers know about the change.

The change was made recently to contacts where users can no longer add secondary (or tertiary, etc.) e-mail addresses to the same contact. This was done to optimize the Contacts system as well as simplify contact organization for the customer.

We understand the difficulty some customers will have with the change to single contact management. If you have any detailed questions or would like to speak to someone we would be happy to try and help you maximize your use of the contacts system. Feel free to post here or give us a call at 1-866-289-2101 between 7AM-11PM EST Monday through Thursday and 7AM-9PM EST Friday. We would be happy to help.
