Anchoring

Hello @DebbieH23,

We do not offer anchor links in our editor due to many email clients and devices no longer supporting them. I can see how this could be a useful feature for our customers but we want to have a product that works across all email clients and devices and having a feature that only works for a few is not desirable. I encourage you to view our post about why you should not include anchor links in your emails and what you can do instead to point your contacts in the right direction.

Please add my complaint to the list of those who REALLY don't like the new editor's lack of anchors. It's one of the reasons I've been touting CC to my HOA, and it is a major disappointment to hear that they are gone.

Hello @DebbieH23,

Unfotunately we no longer support anchor links as many email clients are no longer supporting them due to certain display issues. We can track your feedback for now and apologize for any inconveniences.

Re: anchors

Hi @EricaH23

Thanks for reaching out to the Community with your question! I can understand the helpfulness anchor links can bring to your email . I apologize anchor links are not an available feature to be used in your email templates. This is a feature request I would be happy to track in your account. With that being said, I do want to also make you aware that anchor links are not supported by all email clients. Here is an article we have listing the different email clients that do not support anchor links.

Re: Anchor links

I cannot find where the anchor link image is. I know it should be under insert but it’s not popping up. So I’m wondering if certain versions do not have this capability

Re: Anchor links

Hi @BettyM48 and @PhotzaP,

Thanks for asking about Anchor Links! In our newest editor, we have replaced this functionality with a Read More action block. It helps to keep your email campaign short while driving your contacts to your web presence with a clear call-to-action. To insert a "Read more" link in your email campaign, click More:

Then select the Read More option:

Clicking the "Read more" link in your email campaign will take your readers directly to the webpage in order to view the full content.
