I'm not sure why you changed the way that automated series are created. I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit an email in a series or add another to a series without canceling the whole thing. How come some of my series look and work in the 'old' manner but new ones I create are entirely different?
Those are great questions! You will see two different Automated email tools depending on when you created the series. So if you created something a while ago, you'll see the old manner. However, you can edit emails within the newer tool. You'll want to click on the title of the series and then click on the three dots to the right of the email you want to edit.
