Click Throughs ERROR- Facebook

I have noticed that on every email we send it says we get A LOT of clicks on our link to Facebook on the footer of the email (which wasn't always the case). When I look at the report of the clicks it says all of the clicks to Facebook happened at the exact same date and time. This has happened multiple times on multiple email campaigns leading me to believe that there is some sort of error on your end causing the report to list clicks that never actually happened. Is there a way to resolve this issue? Thank you

Thank you for bringing your question to the Community forums! I understand why you are concerned about these clicks. It is likely that there is a security protocol/program on those folks' email domain that "clicked" the Facebook link before it even arrived in their inbox. This "click" is done so that the security program can assess whether or not there is a security risk on that link. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to prevent the security protocol, since it is on the recipient's end.
