How do I view and export unsubscribes within a date range? and hw can I specify which fields come into that report? I need to have certain custom fields along with their name and email address in order to update our larger data base with unsubscribes, but don' tneed all of them since the beginning of our account - only since last month.
i have viewed the unsubs from each mailing, however, that does not show me the custom fields without clicking into each individual person's record. there must be a better way.
Hi Mary Ellen,
Thanks for posting. There are a couple of ways to pull the information you need.
First, you can export ALL of your unsubscribes. You would just need to go into "Unsubscribed", select all and export. This would pull all the data associated with those contacts, you no longer get to choose the information to export,. Excel makes it simple to sort by date and just grab the information you need.
The second option would be to view your Unsubscribed list, select the contacts you want and tag them with a specific tag. To do this you would just need to click "Manage Tags" after selecting the contacts. Once tagged you could use the Advanced Search to find these contacts and export just them. They would export with all information associated.
I hope on of these solutions works!
I don't want to export all of my unsubscribes, just those that have unsubscribed since March 1. Is there a way to do that?
At this time there isn't a way to sort by date until you complete the export into excel. Once the data was in excel you could sort by "Updated At" to show only March 1st on.
Happy to pass along your feedback on this.
