Outlook does not display my emails as they appear in the preview section. Extra spaces are added and fonts glitch. Please let me know how to correct this.
Thanks for bringing your question to the Community forum! I am very sorry your emails are not appearing as intended in Outlook. Sometimes this can happen if you are copying/pasting from an external source, and the styles transfer from the originating source. We recommend using Notepad (or TextEdit if on a Mac) to copy and paste to first, then copy and paste from Notepad to the Constant Contact editor to clear the styles that might be along for the ride! Here is a brief explanation of Removing Problematic Styling from your copied text. Let us know if after clearing those styles, this problem is not resolved, and we can troubleshoot with you further.
The problem has not resolved after clearing all formatting. This problem is specific to Outlook. Emails look perfect in gmail. Please let me know if you have any other advice.
Hello @KaciW7. I'm sorry that this is happening to you. I sent a test of your most recently sent email to my Outlook 2010 account and did not see any spacing issues or fonts changing. What version of Outlook are you using to preview your emails? Also, are you able to provide us with any screenshots of what you are seeing? This would help us especially because we are not able to replicate the issues you are seeing. If you wanted to continue this conversation privately, please email us at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your screenshots, any additional information and a reference to this post.
