Hi Julie,
Thanks for letting us know that you are having this issue with your image when viewing in Outlook. Our Engineers are aware of this and working toward a resolution.
In the meantime, you can do the following to correct this. ( I made these changes in a CTCT Copy of your email).
Then you can save the block, save your email, send yourself a test and you will see that now the image is where it should be.
Feel free to take a look at my test copy if you have any further questions.
I hope that helps!
Hi Marissa,
Thank you for the follow-up. However, when I sent a test of your updated template to my Outlook address, it still came through as not filling out the full area, but justified left instead of centering.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you,
Julie
Hi Julie,
I see that your email is scheduled. Were you able to resolve this?
Hi Marissa,
No, I was not able to resolve the issue. I'm hoping this issue can be fixed for the future, but the weekly e-mail still has to be sent.
Do you know where the engineers stand on a resolution?
Thank you,
Julie
Hi Julie,
I'm going to have my specialists take a look so they can see if they can find out what is causing your email to stretch and thus causing the image to be left-aligned after we added that height attribute.
They'll reach out to you when they have more information.
Thanks for your patience!
Hi Marissa,
Thank you. I look forward to their follow-up.
Regards,
Julie
You're welcome, Julie, and thank you!
Was this ever resolved? Im havign exactly the same problem and my name is also Julie!
What seems to be going wrong with the image? Is it stretching? Shrinking?
More often than not, when it comes Outlook, these issues revolve around the images themselves and how large they are. It may be that an image is stretching your Constant Contact template which is by default set to 600px in width. If you would like us to take a further look into the matter, we are more than happy to. If you would like to email the name of the campaign to social_support@constantcontact.com, with reference to this community post, we would be more than happy to look into the issue on your behalf!
Best,
Ian W
The image is smaller than the width of the page so the image definitely isnt stretching...the width of the page is greater than the image.
