Google Analytics can't deal with "?" in URL

In Google Analytics when I try to get a tracking code it wants a URL - what URL do I give it? The event URL has ? in it and Google does not accept queries.

Re: Google Analytics can't deal with "?" in URL

Hi @ChristChurchTech!

Unfortunately, the URL that Google Analytics is requesting is a URL that you will need to get from your own website, or a website where you control the hosting. Google Analytics is generally used to track data on your website to show how active certain pages and links are. If you are trying to use Google Analytics to track your Event, it will not be able to, as Constant Contact is already tracking the people that click on the Event URL. You can access our tracking data on the Dashboard of the Event. Here is an FAQ that will help you access that reporting data. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help assist!
