We have had Constant Contact create a mobile template for our company's newsletter, however when they did this it eliminated the HTML code behind the template. The issue with this is I want to place an image within the template that has multiple links within the image. Is there any way to use HTML code for a mobile template? Or place images within such a template that have been sliced in Photoshop and have multiple links within the image?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thank you for reaching out to us through the Community. At this time, we do not have the functionality of using HTML within our new Third-Generation editor (mobile-template). However, I have tracked this request to your account to notify our developers about it. If you still wanted to use the HTML feature, you would have to use our previous Legacy templates. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
I love that it says "SOLVED! Go to Solution" but the "solution" is that you're telling us it can't be done.
It's very simple, really. RESTORE THE HTML EDITOR IN THE 3rd GEN EDITOR.
If you are worried that the masses will get in trouble, then find a way to have a "standard" and and "expert" mode for the editor. I will be sticking with the legacy editor until such time as the 3rd Gen is a professional interface.
We appreciate your feedback on this feature. We will be sure to track your suggestion for this feature and submit your feedback to the appropriate teams.
Keep in mind that if you would like to code your own emails, you are welcome to do so with our Advanced Editor by starting a Custom Code campaign. This can be found by visiting your Campaigns page then clicking on Create>Email>Custom Code.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
