How to prevent social shares by event registrants

Hi, I'm scheduling my very first event invitation tomorrow morning! Tonight, to test everything, I made the event live, and opened Registration. Then I registered only myself. When I was told I successfully registered, it invited me to share the event on FB and Twitter. How do I stop registrants from sharing? This event is invitation-only, not for invitees' social contacts too.

Re: How to prevent social shares by event registrants

Hello @ReginaR796,

I can totally understand why you would want to make sure no unwanted attendees sneak in to the event. It is possible to disable the social sharing function but you will have to disable "Add this event to my calendar" from the Event Dashboard.

We are collecting feedback on being able to disable the social sharing feature without disabling the calendar and I will be tracking that in your account for our developers.
