List growth over time

Is there any way in the contact stats or exports to learn how a particular list has grown over time? I want to see if there were spikes during certain promotion periods. Thanks.

Re: List growth over time

Hi @amyloo

That’s a great question! Constant Contact offers the ability to check growth of your contacts. You can check the growth of all your contacts and even see where your new sign-ups are coming from. You can check this growth based on the last 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, month to date or year to date time periods.

If you want to look at a specific list, and the dates they joined that list I suggest exporting this list out of Constant Contact. When you export this list be sure “date added” is selected as a detail to export.

The “date added” category is the date your contacts were added to this particular list. Once you export these contacts and download the spreadsheet you can then divide your list by sign-up dates. Here is a guide we have on how check the growth of your list through the steps listed above.
