I'm sorry to hear that you were looking to cancel your account. For your account security, we cannot process cancellation requests here in the Community. In order to cancel your account we would need you to call into our Billing team. Here is a link with their hours and phone numbers.

Thank you for reaching out to us through the Community. Due to security purposes, we require that all our cancellations be done through our Billing department by phone. While we do request a call to cancel - calls take a few minutes or less, and we will not pressure you to stay active if you do not wish to do so. The Billing department's contact information can be found by clicking here. Let me know if you need assistance with anything else.

cancelling

I have tried to cancel my account multiple times and each time I get a message that says, "our representatives are busy, try back later" and then they hang up. Please help.

Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. I'm sorry to hear that you have been unable to get through to our Billing team. I see that yesterday you were able to get through to our Support team, who tried to transfer you to Billing. I'm wondering if you've tried one of our direct Billing numbers which can be found here, so that you wouldn't have to go through the transfer process.

 

If that still doesn't work for you, please email us at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with the best number to call you at, and reference this post, so that we can give you a call and try transferring you to Billing directly.

Account cancellation

I've started a free month account but now I'm unable to cancel the account.

The chat support says that it is only possibile by phone but I live in italy and I don't want to call an international (1 781-472-8120) number.

I think this is just a trick to deceive customers and stop them from closing accounts.
