No more alt tags when creating emails?

No more alt tags when creating emails?

Why is there no longer an option to add alt or title tags while creating an email? I now to have keep my library open in a different tab and rename images each time I'm creating an email. Am I missing something here? Seems like with this new update we keep losing more and more features.

Re: No more alt tags when creating emails?

Hello @semaponline. At this time, our next-generation editor does not have the ability to insert alt text for images. Alt text for images can be created while in the Library. This is a feature request that we are actively tracking and I will submit your feedback to our Product team. I apologize for any inconvenience.

New to community; I hope adding a reply is a way of following this thread. I don't see a way to add alt text to an image from URL. All my newsletter images live on my website; I don't need to upload them to Constant Contact--but I do need to be able to assign alt text. Please fix!

Hi @JanG5394

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your feedback on this! Adding a reply to a thread is a great way to follow this topic. I apologize, adding alt text to an outside image is not a feature that is currently available. I have submitted your feedback on this to the appropriate teams in the meantime.
