Reporting - sent date does not match run date in reports
When exporting reports the "sent date and time" is actually the date and time that the email was scheduled, not run. If you click into the details, you will find a run date and time are accurate, but when you export high level data, the "sent date" is when the email was scheduled. At some point in late 2016, Constant contact appeared to correct this, but historical data is still incorrect. Makes it hard to analyze the best send date and time for emails. Is it possible to have all historical data corrected so we don't have to manually correct the information?
I'm very sorry this has happened! After a little bit of digging, we weren't able to find any historical data which is off (the sent date in the reporting reflects when the email was sent in GMT, versus EST which the details page reports). However, if you can email us at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com, with your username, a reference to this post, and the name of the campaign and date of send, we will look into this further. Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your request, we look forward to working with you on this issue!
