I apologize for the experience that you have had regarding our Social Share feature. I do see that you spoke to one of our representatives previously, but I will also answer here in case another customer could use the information too. We have had some reports of customers seeing their photos not appearing correctly when posting to Facebook and we are collecting that information regarding this issue to send out to our engineers. At this time, we recommend using the Short URL to post your campaign directly to Facebook, and then select the image you'd like to use. We apologize for the inconvenience as we work to remedy this issue. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
You are correct! We have added messaging to make customers aware of Facebook's update to not allowing images less than 200x200 to be posted.

Was there ever a solution to the social sharing problem in regards to those ugly images that show up on Facebook when you share a newsletter? If I share the link and just choose the photo off my computer, it's not obvious that I'm sharing a newsletter...it comes across as a small link and that's it. If I share it using the link that CC provides without choosing a photo myself, it chooses my logo as the photo. It doesn't look good at all. Looks like this problem showed up in July 2017, It is now January 2019...and it hasn't been fixed yet? Wow. Thanks in advance for checking into this for me.
Thank you for reaching out. This particular issue is actually functioning as the system is designed. If you don't select an image, the system automatically grabs the first one displayed in the email. In your case, this will generally be your logo. The way around it is to select an image from the library to display in place of this image. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

I looked and surprised no one else has asked this. In the last few days, whenever I use CC to post to Facebook, or use the link to a constant contact email in a self generated post, Facebook uses random pictures in that email link and I cannot edit them. Therefore, it picks up both pictures and ads - and I am unable to Boost or promote my CC campaign email on Facebook (violates the word restrictions on pictures). Used to be you just selected a pciture in CC for your Facebook post, and it worked well with Facebook. What is the work around?
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community! We understand your concerns and want to let you know that Facebook recently changed its API thus affecting which image is included with Social Share posts. Basically, Facebook now automatically selects the image. While we are actively working on a solution for this, you can try making the first image in your email campaign the same image that you'd like to appear in your Facebook share. Or you can manually post your email campaign's permanent URL and image to your Facebook page.
After pasting the link, the Facebook business page should give you the option to upload your own images to associate with the link. So if you have the image file saved to your desktop you'll be able to choose it when the option appears.
