when I've been working for a bit (with occassional saves within an article), all of a sudden the screen goes black (with transparency, so I can still see what's underneath) where I can still make out the popup screen that came up below stating "For security, we'll log you out in: <count down meter> [ log me out ] [I'm still working]" buttons. but I can't click either of the buttons.
SOOOOO frustrating. I've been saving my changes within each article, so why would it not realize I'm obviously still working on it?
Failing that, why would a black screen come up so I can't make the choices I'm supposed to make (to log out or keep me logged in)?
I'm using Chrome on a Mac

I am so sorry about that experience! I had a look in our system and found this is a known system issue that we are currently researching. I will make sure to flag your account as one experiencing this technical issue and I can make sure you are notified when resolved. For now, since you are using Google Chrome, try logging into Chrome using their incognito mode. See steps on how to open an incognito window. We are not clear with certainty yet what is causing this. Though, on occasion, 3rd party plug-ins or stored browsing cookies/cache might affect our site, so browsing in incognito could help in the meantime.
If you would like to share a screenshot and the name of the email campaign as well as what actions you were performing when the message appeared, that would be really helpful in our research! Please send any info to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com.
I just had the same issue tonight. Still not fixed?
Thank you for reaching back out. While the issue isn't fully resolved, it doesn't happen frequently. I will track your issue on the existing system issue so that they know you have now experienced this as well and can dive back into the problem. In the meantime, should you need anything else feel free to reach out.
Thank you for choosing Constant Contact. Have a great day!
