I have used the Soft Confirm option a couple of times on existing emails that I have created by checking the permission reminder box but since CC was upgraded the new templates do not appear to have this option. Please could you let me know how I can do this?

Thank you for posting your question on the Community!
As you have noticed, the new editor does not have the soft confirm option. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I think it is great that you wish to have this feature in your email as it reminds subscribers that they have given you permission to send emails to their address. We suggest adding a text block to the top side of your email so that you can manually add permission reminder text. This way that permission reminder information is still visible on the top side of the email.
I hope that this helps but please let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you for using Constant Contact, have a great day!
I followed your advice to add a text box including the Soft Confirm code into the header -
Thank you for your reply. I looked into the link for you and it seems to be working properly on my end. Are you receiving any error messages? Could you perhaps take a screenshot of what you're seeing? Also, are you viewing this on the preview screen?
I am still having difficulties with this. Please see the screenshot above and can you also help with linking the Yes please button to the link to confirm their email opt-in.
Thank you for replying back with a screenshot of what you are seeing. In the new editor when trying to add a link to a word we will want to use the Link option in the toolbar for the specific text block you are working in.
If you click in the text block a toolbar should populate. In that toolbar it will give you several different options that you can modify like Font Style, Font Color, Alignment and there should also be an option for a Link. You will need to then highlight the text your are trying to link, select the Link option and select what type of link you will be using. Once we selected what type of link you will be using, we will insert the URL in the Link URL option. Click here to view an article that will show you how to use our Link option in the new editor.
I wanted to follow up on some additional information that might clear up any possible questions that have not been answered yet. First, the feature for the Soft Confirm is a feature that we had in our previous editor and is not available in the newer editor. I will submit your feedback and add you to a track in regards to this feature. Second, when we tested the link to the ''Soft Confirm'', we tested the link in one of your previous newletter templates (older editor). In the newer editor the workaround will be to insert the reminder text manually in to a text block at the top of your email mentioned previously, which was completed by you. The ''Click here'' option you created in your text block will need to be linked to one of you Landing Page sign-up forms. This landing page will also need to be connected to a brand new list targeted specifically for re-confirmed email addresses. We will want to first create the list and proceed to editing the landing page so that it is connected to the designated list. Click here to view how to edit your landing page so that it is propertly connect to the correct list. After following these steps, we will then want to link ''Click here'' that is currently placed in the text that you've created in your email newsletter to the landing page sign-up form that we have just edited. Click here to see where to get the form URL for that landing page. Please let us know if this helps and clears up any remaining questions. Your feedback is valuable to us as we are always looking for ways to better your experience.
