Third Generation Editor

Is anyone using the 3GE app?

How is it accessed and what is the cost if an already existing CC customer?

Re: Third Generation Editor

Hi @ColleenW330,

The Third Generation Editor (3GE), when we activate it in your account, is as easy to access as hitting the Create Button, and clicking on Email! The templates that show up there will all be in the 3GE experience. Activating it in the account is just the flip of a switch, and there is not an extra cost for it. Let us know if you would like to activate the new editor in your account by emailing us at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your username, a reference to this post, and we will get you into the 3GE experience!

Re: Third Generation Editor - social media share

I am using the 3G newsletters, and want to place social media sharing buttons into the header (where they were formerly located in the second generation--now Legacy--newsletters). I can build the social media sharing box into the body of the email--and move it from the bottom to any position in the email--except the header. Is there a way to insert the social media icons into the header, so that email recipients immediately see them and share to their own Facebook Twitter feeds, etc.?

Thanks,

Re: Third Generation Editor - social media share

Hi @SharonR53,

Thank you for reaching out to us through the Community. That is a great suggestion, but at the moment we do not have the ability to insert the social media icons in the header of the email campaign. A workaround would be to insert the social media icons at the very top of the email campaign since that would be the closest it can get to the header. With that being said, I have submitted this request in to our developers for review and I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please let us know if you need assistance with anything else.
