I am sorry to hear that our site is freezing and being unresponsive for you. I would love to see if we could troubleshoot what is going on. It sounds like it may be a connectivity issue. Have you tried using incognito or a private window in your browser? Have you tried using a different browser?
If these do not work for you, can you please let me know what browser you are working in and which other one you tried? Also, let me know if you tried using incognito or private browsing.
