Hi, 

 

I have a question about when someone unsubscribes.

 

With my particular CC account,  several newsletters get sent out to different audiences. What I'm wondering is, if someone is a recipient of multiple newsletters and they unsubscribe after receiving one newsletter, are they then unsubscribed from all emails from my account?

Hello @PatriceC5. When someone unsubscribes from your newsletter, they would be unsubscribed from the account completely. What I can recommend is that you use the Update Profile form to give your contacts the opportunity to select what information they want to receive from you. Your contacts will see the Update Profile Form when they decide to unsubscribe from your emails and you can select what lists you want to display on your form .

Re: Unsubscribers - delete these people?

I have a question with an obvious answer, but I thought it is better to make sure.  When someone unsubscribes, I assume they will no longer receive ANY emails even if their contact record is in an active emailing list.  Correct?  Does unsubscribing remove them from the active list?  Also, would it be best to delete those contacts who have unsubscribed?

That's a great question! When a contact unsubscribes they are removed from your active contacts altogether and moved the Unsubscribed list. They are not automatically deleted from the account but they are grouped on that list and can't be sent too. You may delete them from the account or leave them so you may track them.
