The problem is that when people forward the email through their email the newsletter is completely messed up, and you say there is no way to fix that when it leaves constant contact servers. The forward to a friend is a good suggestion to the reader and should be able to send from the server and arrive in better condition. I am very frustrated.
Yes, the legacy templates are our older version of the editor. The new third generation editor has already been released, and any of the 'standard' templates in your account will be using that newer editor. We do not currently have an ETA on when the forward to a friend button will be added to this editor, but we'll be continuing to pass those requests on to the engineering team so that they know it's something people are wanting and asking about.
That is a great point and I will definitely pass that feedback on to our developers. Unfortunately, even when we had the forward to a friend button included, we didn't see many people utilizing it so that was still a problem. Hopefully our developers can enable something in future releases that will fit your needs!
Hi, is there an update on the status of this feature being added to the Third Generation Editor? We recently had a custom template built by Constant Contact. When I tested out how it looks when it is forwarded from Outlook to Gmail, the formatting was completely off. It would be great to have the forwarding feature for that reason and the reasons other people have shared. Thank you!

- What are the display issues (stretching, colors, etc)?
- What email client was the email forwarded from?
- What email client was the forwarded email received at?
- Would you be able to provide us with a screenshot of the issue being experienced?

I also would like to have a "forward to a friend" feature. Some of my subscribers have requested this. They like to share my content but their email clients change the appearance of my email and they are unhappy with the results.

Does anyone know if the ability to let your subscribers forward the email to their friends has been discontinued? I can't find it anywhere in the 3rd generation editor.
