Re: blurry pdf

Hi @TravisJ024!

Thank you so much for reaching out! I'm sorry you've had trouble with blurriness in your PDF. When it comes to text in an image, it is somewhat hard to get that text to appear as crisp as it looks in the PDF. PNGs are the best bet when it comes to an image to insert into the email that looks as close to the original PDF as possible. Here is a link that may help when it comes to preparing your image for upload to our library.

Based on this FAQ, the maximum recommended size of the image is 350KB or 800 pixels wide. Any larger image width, and the image will be compressed down to be the average size of an email, which is between 600 and 800 pixels wide. This compression can cause the text in an image to pixelate, probably similar to what you've experienced. Hopefully this will help with the blurry problem you've been experiencing! If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out here!

Re: blurry pdf

Have there been any improvements on this matter? The only reason to use a PDF instead of an image would be to preserve text. If the PDF function is incapable of displaying text legibly, I would consider it a useless function. I'm having trouble with this capability right now.

Good Afternoon @LaSalleGroup

Thanks for joining us in the Community. We certainly agree having PDFs that look clear is desired. The size of the PDF can certainly affect quality. In addition, to assist you further what steps have you tried so far such as resizing, flattening, compressing? For your reference, here is the guide to ensure the best pdf quality.

Re: blurry pdf

I have tried all of the above. I am trying to send out a newsletter to our clients, but nothing I've tried results in legible text.

Re: blurry pdf

Hey @LaSalleGroup,

I apologize that the PDF still isn't rendering as intended after everything! I have another idea for you to try. If the PDF is meant to be the whole email what I recommend is try splitting the PDF in two. Splitting PDF into two separate PDF's might allow you to increase the quality of the images. Once the two halves are uploaded into your account, you will be able to add them to your campaign and have them touch so they still look like one big file. Please let me know if you need me to elaborate on this more!
