email sent to about half of the mailing list only

Sent an email to a mailing list containing 149 names, it only sent 82 of them.... no bounces showing. List uploaded completely. Out of 7 names on the list beginning with A, only 1 of them sent.... In the B's, it skips 1, sends 1, skips 3, sends 1, etc.????

Hi @ToniaM9,

 

Thank you so much for reaching out with your question on the sent status of your email. I took a look at your account, and saw that you had a number of people in the No Permissions Set status. This is the reason that the email was not sent to the entire list, as some of the people on that list were in the No Permissions Set status. This status happens when someone signs up for an event, but does not check the "I want to receive the newsletter" box.

 

I was able to reset their permission status and added them to a new list in your account that is labeled Did Not Receive. You can now send that email to this new list, and this will ensure that everyone who should have received the email, will receive the email. I have experienced the same issue with my latest campaign.  Using a mailing of over 3682 people and the campaign only went out to a little over 300 people.  It doesn't seem to be a permissions issue as I did a spot check on some on the list and they have permissions set.  How do I go about finding out who didn't get the email campaign?

Hello @DanB8398,

 

I did a quick look at your contacts, and I agree with you.  I'm not seeing anything that should cause that much of a discrepancy.  I'd like to look into this further to figure it out for you though.  Just send us an email with which campaign specifically didn't send to the full list, and we can do some investigation on this side.  Send the email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com.
