I apologize for the experience you've had with your contacts page. If a page doesn't load as fast as it should for you, it's most likely related to connectivity issues. Have you tried a different browser or a private/incognito window? Here's a helpful resource with more details on troubleshooting connectivity issues. Also, if you are trying to view contacts in bulk you want to make sure you have your contacts page set to show 500 rows per page.
This is something you can set at the bottom of your contacts page, and it is the largest amount you can view on one page at a time.
