Did you know you can Edit your Images?

Do you need to crop an image, add a border or some text?  You can do that in your Constant Contact account!

After you have uploaded the image into your account you can choose to Edit the Image. If you are on the Library tab you can click Image Editor.

If you are in the Insert Images window you can click to Customize the image, then to the bottom left of the screen click the Edit Image button.

Once you are in the Image Editor from Aviary, there are many things that you can do to edit your image.

Here’s a break down of the tools available:

  • Enhance – Allows you to add filters to your image to help enhance the colors
  • Frames – There are many different frames for you to choose from, from black, white and even one that looks like a filmstrip.
  • Crop – Allows you to take out any excess space around your image.  Drag the four corners so that it is around the section of image you want to keep, then click Apply
  • Resize – If you want to edit the main dimensions of the image you can do so with this tool
  • Orientation – Here you can rotate your image or mirror the image.
  • If you want to adjust the colors or appearance of the image use the following tools:
    • Brightness
    • Contrast
    • Saturation - Hint: If you want to make the photo black and white, for most images you can slide the saturation all the way to the left or – sign.
    • Warmth
    • Sharpness
  • Text (you can click the arrow to the left of Sharpness to see the Text tool) – Allows you to add text on top of the image and select color, size,
