The information below is out of date.

social.jpgConstant Contact’s email editor makes it easy for you to insert a social media icon into your email or invitation. Putting these icons in your email is a great way to drive traffic to your other sites and give you an opportunity to connect there as well as through your emails.

Currently we have the follow icons available:

  • Facebook
  • Flickr
  • Google+
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • Twitter
  • Yelp
  • YouTube
  • Blog (generic blog icon)

Do you need to insert a different icon? Manually insert it and make it a clickable link!

1. While in the edit mode of your email, click the pencil icon to edit a block.

2. Click your cursor in the spot you would like the icon.

3. On the left of your page, click the Social button at the top of the menu.

4. Hover your mouse over the icon you would like to insert and click the plus icon.

5. In the overlay that appears, choose the image you would like .

6. Follow the customized instructions under the “Link” box to get the link to your unique social media page.

7. Leave the “Track” option checked off to track the clicks on your icons!

8. Click the Insert button and then “Save” on the block.

Remember to test your links out while previewing your email! There are different directions available for inserting a social media link into a custom code or classic wizard email.
