Constant Contact just ran a live nonprofit newsletter webinar and wanted to share a good question that a nonprofit asked.
Isn't it important to link whole concepts rather than "here" or "Click here for more details"?
Yes. People truly are just scanning emails. They may just read the headline of your article and be ready for more. But just seeing “click here” might require more time to know what they will get on the other side of that click. Make it clear the benefit they will get by taking that click. For example, “click here to learn how to live in harmony with backyard animals”.
