Just wondering if square.com will be used as an option when my customers register. I really like it and it's much easier on our side and less expensive. Let me know if this will ever be an option. thank you
As a UK user we use WorldPay for our credit card online payments. Would you also consider connecting to this gateway?
Thanks for sharing this feedback. Have you considered using a Access Code to allow the people using their club account to not be charged through EventSpot but instead allow them to complete registration for "free" so you can charge them later? Here's and FAQ on access codes: https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/5595-differences-between-discount-a...
Thanks for sharing your feedback. This isn't an option right now but is an interesting thought to consider. Would you like to have your registrants complete payment as they come into your event or are you in a situation where you see the people who would be registering in person ahead of time?
Our business uses Authorize.Net to accept MC and VISA, but we intentionally do not accept AMEX and Discover. I suggest an Event feature to allow me to select the cards to display on the form. Otherwise, AMEX people will get frustrated and walk away. Even better...setting payment up only once, and have it apply for every event. Today I must open up each event and put payment information in on each one.
Thank you for your post. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our products. Adding additional gateway providers is a great idea, and I will pass your feedback onto our engineers.
Thanks for posting this feedback. You're right that we don't integrate with TouchNet at this time but this is something to look into for the future.
Have you tried including the disclaimer on the sign up form as a text box?
I'd really like to see more payment solution options to use with EventSpot, other than PayPal, that will accept Canadian accounts. WePay and ProPay only accept U.S. accounts.
Hi! Yes please! Integrate Square for both pre-registration as well as tickets to be sold at the door. All in one event. Please! Please!
I too would like to see Square be integrated as a payment option. It's easier to use than paypal for many things, the reports are far superior, and funds are deposited to our bank account daily (vs on demand with paypal).
Agreed! PLEASE give us another option other than WePay, Authorize.net and Pro Pay. Have used them all and dislike all three!! Never had an issue with Square. PLEASE add square as a payment option for pre registration!!
Currently Event Spot only supports PayPal for payments if you're Canadian based. Our registrants are increasingly from organizations where they are not allowed to use PayPal with their corporate credit cards, and PayPal has become increasingly difficult to use for some users due to their enhanced credit card verification and account structure (which isn't appropriate for our customers or transactions through Event Spot).
Suggest Event Spot to plug in with Stripe which is similar to WePay (2.9% + $0.30, no monthly, no annual, no withdrawal fee) and supports Canadians or enhance the WePay to include Canadians so we can take payments directly on the form without directing through PayPal.
Please add Stripe as an option for credit card processing in Event Spot
Thanks for posting this feedback!
you should have the option built into the system for different rates for different methods of payment, ie paypal, credit card, at door, etc.
Great feedback, thanks for posting!

So, are there any plans to implement this "certified great idea"? We have this issue as well, since we do not accept Discover card. It's frustrating to registrants whose charges are declined, and they are not always understanding about why the logo is there if we do not accept the card.
not sure what you mean by voting open, but I am all for it
Give us back the old views to see emails (draft, scheduled and sent) in one place and event list sorted by event start date in another. I oversee the CC marketing for our nonprofit and the old views were an easy way to make sure my colleagues had created the events and associated invitation emails.
The current views are unfriendly. The event list has so much information that I can't see all our events at a glance without scrolling to a new page or listing 40. Several events are listed out of order of the scheduled date because the sort is by last modified.
Finally, some autoresponder email pops at the top of the list and I can't delete it.
With all these basic problems with usability, I haven't had a chance to find the improvements in this system.
Even when I'm logged in, I cannot find on their website any info about Help, Contact, or Community. When a Constant Contact rep sent me a link to WePay's "Submit a Request" page. Apparently WePay does not have real-time reps.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, this is a great idea!
I would like to be able to process event payments through Network for Good. We are a nonprofit and they offer good pricing.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I've opened this idea for voting.
When guests are registering for an event, Please make a payment option that states something like " Other pay/ pay Event Coordinator Directly" something to allow guests to pay me at my store in advance on my cc reader when they don't want to register online. Then I won't have to make a "pay by check" option available in order to register these guests this way even though they have paid me with cash or cc at my store. I want Pay w/ CC option or Pay at Watermelon Creek Vineyard
so I am not waiting for checks. I don't use the " Pay at The Door" Option very much.
Add my vote to add square. Much more reliable that PayPal.
Add Square as an online payment option for events.
As a non-profit allowing credit card transactions is a risky move because of the additional fees but it is inevitably what people prefer to use. Trying to make it easier for people to attend our events we have allowed for credit cards to be used to purchase tickets. When we managed event registration without constant contact we applied a different cost for those that wanted to convenience of paying with a credit card (slightly higher to cover the service fees). Using to constant contact event registration is great but there is no way to adjust the rate when people choose to pay with a credit card. You could put two separate rates on your event and hope people would do the honorable thing or pay attention to the different rates but there is a big risk there. This should be an improvement made to the registration service.
Yes, would love to have Square as online payment option for events!
Yes, would love the option of integrating square as a payment option.
I would love to be able to add a Venmo button to the bottom of our emails. Venmo is a growing social network for processing payments and donations.
