Copying event dates into a newsletter UGH

I write newsletters which cover a range of events for people to sign up for. Every time I have to save, exit, go to the event, copy the sign up link, exit, go back to the newsletter, paste. Incredibly cumbersome. The one I am doing now has about ten such links. CC really needs the ability to leave a newsletter open while opening a second campaign to copy from and paste back to the first one.

Can you work around the back-and-forth by copying all the links you need to a Notepad file first?
