Need for one email to be able to register multiple times for an event

Need for one email to be able to register multiple times for an event

I am using Constant Contact for registrations for a church Summer Camp. We need separate registrations for each camper. We are having a problem with parents who are trying to register more than one child. The limit of one registration per one email address is VERY FRUSTRATING!! There should be a way to allow the same email to register more than one participant for an event. Please call me if you need clarification on my problem:**Removed By Moderator**. Thank you!!

Hello, I am concerned that registration forms will not accept more than one registration that contains the same email address. For parents, organizations, or anyone that needs to submit additional registrations after the initial registration this function is essential. It happens quite often in my organization and so I wonder how often this happens to other individuals. I know other registration programs such as Wufoo will allow same email addresses to be used more than once allowing families or groups to register as people are added to an event allowing for more flexibility in regards to the timeliness of information received. Is this something you all can look at? Not having this function is an extreme inconvenience. Thanks! Paula

We set up a reoccurring event that folks are not able to pay all at one time and some of them only can attend every other month. Is there a way to allow a person to register for the same event more than one time? Even if we have to go in and delete them after each event...Here is a link to the event: http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=dpmadceab&oeidk=a07ebqwazv370aeb5a2

Please allow a duplicate email address for registrations and the ability to add/cancel items purchased in Event Spot Registration Maintenance. It's a PAIN IN THE REAR when you need to add/delete anything - you have to completely cancel the registration if you want to add another person or cancel a person for an event.

Our organization runs youth camps through the summer in which it would be extremely helpful for parents to be able to use their email more than once - for example if wanting to register their child for a camp in June and later add an additional camp in July or August. We have addressed this issue through a variety of creative measures on our end, though it remains an inefficiency. I have been told for several years now that CC is working on addressing this issue - thank you for continuing to find a solution - it would definitely increase the EventSpot usability greatly! Thanks for your consideration!

Since we cannot use the same email address for several people it was necessary for us to print the tickets and send them to the people that were paying. Now since your upgrade I can no longer print a person's ticket. when I choose view my option is now grayed out. Can you please enable it. I need to get to each ticket to print it if necessary. Thank you.

I love the capability that Eventspot gives for creating tickets for ticketed events. I've been using this feature for the past three years now. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow emails to be registered more than once. Many of my customers desire to pay via more than one transaction, and it doesn't help if one has to use a secondary email, especially if a secondary email is not established already. Thank you!

Well, it looks like unless we all start calling and sending emails, Constant Contact is NEVER going to address this issue. I've just been told by Adam R, "These things are done in phases" and "it's based on customer requests...whatever gets the most requests" So...start making your requests, or Constant Contact will continue to mark things as "Certified Great Idea" but won't actually DO anything.

This just in from Justin, Customer Engagement Specialist, when I said that Constant Contact's solution for us to add a second registrant to an existing paid registration was a work-around that four years later isn't meeting CC's customers' needs (the solution: to cancel the original registration and re-register, or, to create a fake email address and register the guest seperately):

Justin responded: "This issue in particular is tricky because the program does allow you to do what is being requested per the earlier linked FAQ. While it may not be the most elegant way of adding guests to a paid event registration it works and it is the way the designers intended the task to be done. I understand that you consider this to be a work around and I can see why. But when someone calls in about adding guests manually we send them the FAQs I sent you and they're able to keep moving forward successfully. So this change request isn't seeing a lot of traction. This issue in particular is tricky because the program does allow you to do what is being requested per the earlier linked FAQ.
