Send Immediatly

It's frustrating that I only have one welcome message. I'm running a campaign to download an e-book, but they won't get an immediate email with the download link. And I don't want everyone who signs up for my newsletter to get the e-book only a very specific list. Without this ability the Autoresponder feature is not fully built out.

Menu Option of one day minimum is no good to me as I have PDF publications which subscribers expect to download without delay. This delay reflects on my brand values and the relationship I aim to build with subscribers. Other platforms such as MailChimp and Aweber seem to offer an immediate response! Thank you in anticipation.

I just wanted to take a moment to share two things with Constant Contact. First, you have a wonderful representative in Kelsy (sorry if I've got the spelling wrong). I called in balanced on the edge of a full blown panic attack because I could not get an autoresponder email to go out faster than a day after a new subscriber was added to my list. Kelsy explained that you are working on enhancing the autoresponder feature and apologized for the inconvenience. But she did not simply leave me dangling off the edge of a cliff as someone else might have done. Kelsy took the time to play around with my Welcome Email, making it prettier and adding necessary links for me so that it became a workable, temporary solution to my dilemma. And I have to say that had she not been so helpful I was ready to cancel my account (in fact I was looking at as an alternative while I was on hold). So Kudos to Kelsy! Secondly, please put enhancing the scheduling options for autoresponder at the top of your priority list! Thank You, Lynne Barron

Hi @LynneB831

Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad Kelsy was able to help you! I've passed along your kind words to her and our management team. Thanks again!

Hello Lists collect details of people signing up for offers, downloads etc. So there is a need for an immediate upon sign up email. Thanks

Hi @GrahamK9

There is a welcome email that will send instantly to anyone who signs up on their own. This won't send to people who you upload to the account. You also can set up Autoresponders to send after 24 hours at the earliest. Do you think of these options would work for you?

Dear Engineers It would be super helpful (and it would keep me from switching to 1shoppincart.com) to be able to have my AUTO RESPONDERS go out in LESS THAN 24 HRS. I need to send valuable information to customers who have just purchased something from my site, etc. My shopping cart does send out mails, but I really rather only keep ONE MAILING COMPANY - which preferably is Constant Contact. So, in order to do that, I will need the option to have my Auto-Responder go out right away, or soon after the name is added. Can you do something like that? I did hear from a support person at Constant Contact, that this is in the works for a possible release in the very near future. That would really be very helpful and keep me a loyal customer!!! with warm greetings yours Ilona Selke

This really needs to be changed to immediately especially since we can't customize the welcome email letter for each list. When someone signs up we should be able to create a thank you email that they get immediately customized for EXACTLY what they signed up for! Again... this is quite behind the times compared to other services. If you aren't going to change that then we should be able to include a link when we build our sign up form that sends them to our own thank you page! Come on... catch up with your peers! I would have to have to stop using you guys after so many years...

We wanted to offer a free book for people who sign up for our free email newsletter. We were told it would take 24 hours for your system to respond to the offer to send out the free ebook. That just doesn't work for the instantaneous aspect of what we are trying to accomplish. People are use to an immediate response, especially when it's all done electronically. This is outdated and doesn't seem to be a good business model.

Hello, I highly recommend that you enable immediate email notification following any web form sign-up/opt-in. Some requests may require a more timely reply and an immediate notification would be very helpful. Also, it wouldn't hurt to enhance web form creation a bit by allowing simple modification to the "sign up" button text, as well as the "thank you" that comes up immediately upon submission.
