Changes & Updates:

  • Event sorting options are changing! You can sort by “Start Date Oldest” & “Start Date Newest.” Please note, this is only available when looking at your Event campaigns.

  • If a contact was added to your account through a website sign up form and it was either suspicious or it is suspected that the email was added without the consent of the contact, we are putting those contacts into a Temporary Hold status. To find out more about the statuses and how to update them, please go here.  
  • Reporting page can now display stats and trends from up to the last 500 per page (this is up from the 50 it used to show). Learn more here
  • Global Fonts!  You can now choose a standard font for your entire campaign through the Design tab in 3GE campaigns
  • The iOS version of our Mobile App got some updates as well:
    • You can now manage your library from your phone, including the ability to upload images from your device.
    • When adding images to campaigns in the app, you can also make them clickable links!

You Asked, We Delivered:

  • With the ability to set a global font style in your 3GE campaign, you can now also edit the styling of your links!  This means that if you do not want your links to be underlined, you can set the default for the campaign. Take a look here for more information

Coming Soon:

  • Ability to set Alt text (or alternative text) for images from the Third Generation Editor (3GE).

Hello, my name is Samantha and I started working at Constant Contact in September of 2011 as a Customer Engagement Specialist. I started on the Community and Social Media Support team in March of 2014. I am now the Constant Contact Community Manager! Outside of work I am mostly spending time hanging out with my pets (1 dog and 2 cats), binge watching shows, or reading. I've been a Constant Contact user and partner for over 10 years. Recently they made a change to your  platform where you can't put your emails in chronological order and it is very frustrating!
 
Imagine that you have over 15 events each month and over 40 emails and I can't see them in chronological order. Boy, is it frustrating! The changes recently made by Constant Contact are ridiculous and you don't seem to care about us, the users!
 
I'm about to ready to switch companies since it seems that the $200+ I spend every month is not important to CC. 
 
My advice:   Avoid Constant Contact until and if you fix this ridiculous new interface!

The new sorting is ludicrous! It does not show your events nor emails in order.  It's madness for me and my staff to get a quick view of the status of my emails now!  They do not sort correctly!!!  This is a major issue that is causing great grief to my staff and causing us to waste a lot of manhours trying to determine what emaisl have gone out and/or are scheduled and the status of events!  

 

I spend over $200 on Constant Contact and I feel frustrated and abandoned by Constant Contact!!!!

 

Please put the sorting back like it was before!  It worked then!  It does NOT work now!

I also find the sorting options incredibly frustrating. Who would want to mix events and emails ?

Who would want to see things alphabetically.... i am not sure what you guys were thinking at all. Agree whole-heartedly

Hello @WendyPotts-CTMH. Thank you for your feedback. Although events and emails are shown together under Campaigns, you are able to separate them by clicking on Campaign Type over on the left side of the page and selecting what type of campaign you wish to view. Here is a screenshot that will show you how to do this:
