Event fees

In the Events area I used to be able to allow people to pay at the door. Now I can't. Also what's with a hidden fee? You say you I can opt to have this fee added to the customer, but you don't tell me how much it is. So I can't give my customer a heads-up and I have no idea what the fee will be. And that is on top of the fees I already pay you.

Hello @DeniseP795 ,

In the legacy event builder, the Pay at Door payment option is available for accounts made prior to August 2019 on the Email or Email Plus plans. If your account was made after, or you're on one of the newer plan types, this option won't be available.

If you need reminders of what the fees are between our event system and the payment processors, I'd recommend taking a look at our main article on event fees.

If you'd like to request opting into the newer event tool's beta earlier in its rollout, you can utilize this link.

I've had this account since .... I don't know, the early 2000s. Well before 2019. My Plan is listed as "standard".   It seems to me that I had a plan for emails and an add-on pricing plan for the events -- was this the "Emails +"? I do not see it listed as an option now.

Looking at your current pricing, nowhere in the list does it say "email" or "email plus"  rather it lists "lite" "standard" and "premium." And it always suggests the highest price plan.  As I said I have the Standard. I could double my cost and go to "premium" but based on what you called the two plans and what is listed on the pricing page, there is no guarantee that I would be choosing  a plan that works. And doubling my cost would be really silly based on the number of emails I send a month.

If you're on the Lite/Standard/Premium plan setup, then Pay At Doors won't be an option, regardless of the account's age.
