Stats are no longer accurate or clear

I record & update my stats for each email in an Excel file. The change to the reports - implemented today, 10/23/2018 - have muddied the stats. I can no longer get a clear number of unique opens & clicks or total opens & clicks.

Thank you for your feedback @Salesman. Is there any specific feedback you are able to provide as to why you are wanting the old reporting back? Features that are missing, things that are not working, et. al?

Thank you for the feedback @BillJ764 What about the stats specifically are muddied? You should be able to view the "Links" option in the dropdown to get the number of clicks on links. Additionally, the "Clicks" option in the dropdown will allow you to choose either unique or all clicks. From there you are able to export whichever report you are wanting to.

As a Marketer you have made my job impossible. I cannot see what is the most popular item in the email. I cannot see what my audience is interested in. You are giving me the raw data. I do not have the band width to crunch numbers. Your previous report was excellent. I am aware I took your reporting for granted. Please turn it back on!!!!!!!

I have to agree! I can no longer see the total number of unique clicks per link. I can download the entire link report for each email, and then sort by link, sort by email, delete duplicate emails, and add up number of clicks myself. SO MUCH WORK!! Why the change? Link data is nearly useless to me now.

Thanks for commenting @MiramonteP You are able to view the total number of unique clicks per link by viewing the "Links" dropdown. From there you are able to drill into the clicks on whichever link you choose. Please let me know if that is what you were looking for. If not, can you please elaborate on what you were hoping to see as far as the total number of unique clicks per link?

I see no "links" dropdown. Where is that? Please be specific. 

 

When I click on the sent campaign, I see the number of total clicks. When I click on that number, I am given a list of every single click by email address. There is no option to change to "unique" so that I can see which link go how many clicks. I can export the entire data set and sort myself, but that is a no go for us.

I apologize for not clarifying @MiramonteP Here is an image of what the page will look after choosing "links" in the drop down. Please let me know if you do not have that option in your dropdown when viewing the reports for your campaign.

Thank you for your feedback @CharmaineN3 can you please elaborate on what you mean by "I cannot see what is the most popular item in the email"? You should have all options you had previously when it comes to links and who clicked them. The "Clicked" option in the dropdown will show all contacts who clicked on links and the "Links" drop down will show you all URLs in the email and how many contacts clicked them. You can then drill into them further to see which contacts clicked the URL.

I want "SELECT ALL" back! There is zero reason to remove that feature.

 

Who in their right mind wants to select one by one when moving contacts to a new list or removing bounces?

 

What engineer thought that was a "good idea" to remove?

 

At least let us pick our own version of the reporting interface in the settings.

New Reporting System: I'm not a fan... previously I could quickly sort within Constant Contact to see which links were the best performing in any given email. Now they are simply displayed in alphabetical order and I can't get a sense of which are the best performing vs worst performing. I should be able to click on the header and then the columns sort ascending or descending; as we could previously. Now, apparently I have to export it to excel before I can sort the columns as I need. It's difficult to now get an overview of all the stats in one place. Not an improvement in my opinion. 

 

For example when you click on "Opened" it doesn't actually tell you how many people opened it! It's just a long list of who opened it. At the very least there should be the totals at the top of each page.

I don't like the way it looks, nor do I like the way I have to interact with it. In the past, if I wanted a click report, I could go to reports and see what percentage of clicks were with each link. Then, I could click on the specific percentage if I wanted to get e-mails. Now, I have to go to two different pages to see this information; one of which is very difficult to find. The other - to see the actual e-mails that clicked on each link, are not organized by link clicked; which makes it extremely difficult for me to find the data that I need.

Similarly, I cannot select all when wanting to delete or remove e-mails for bounces (or at least, I do not see that option), which is very frustrating. 

Frankly, the entire new interface is extremely frustrating and useless for us.

Thank you for responding so quickly. We do still offer the link click percentage on the email details page. For example, If you click on the name of an email, you will be taken to the email details page. Once there, at the bottom of the page with be the link distribution percentages. As far as seeing the number of clicks for each link, rest assured you do still have the option. There should be two options in the dropdown menu when viewing an emails report. To view the links and the numbers clicked, you will want to choose "Links". Rest assured, are developers are looking into the bounce pages select all option. Again, thank you for responding and clarifying so quickly. I will be sure to provide your feedback to the appropriate teams.

Thank you for your feedback @Trish3 Just to clarify, what are you referring to as far as the new reporting page goes? Our old reporting page did not show which list the email went to so I just want to ensure I am understanding your feedback correctly?

Yeah so I was able to find what I was looking for through very helpful chat session. What I was looking for is now listed under "link" which without going through the extremely confusing navigation I would have never found. The new layout is horrible. I now have pages and pages where as before I could see everything I needed on one page. I prefer the earlier layout for opens and clicks, much easier to navigate and read.
