I'd love your feedback. This landing page looks terrible to me. But I'm so deep in the weeds... Your ideas welcome. Thanks to this community - the ideas/suggestions to my last post were super helpful!

Hi !

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for advice on your landing page!  My first glance reaction is there isn't enough information.  You of course have a video that is full of info, but a lot of people don't want to spend time watching if they don't know how long it is, or what its about. I would recommend putting some of that info in as text so your potential subscribers see more at first glance. I would also recommend sizing your video down a bit so it isn't the only thing people see, and then asking people to click the video to get more information

Thanks, Kara. I removed the video altogether and added more text as an explanation of what my newsletter is about. I also added a picture of me. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Hi Albert,

When I click on the "Join Here" hyperlink and the "Sign Up Here" button they both take me to the a Newsletter sign up form, however on your landing page it isn't super clear that it's a Newsletter that they are signing up for. Maybe if you reworded it to say:

"Sign up for the Biszmissive

A 10-part email newsletter series designed to help you succeed at digital marketing

I've been helping small businesses and nonprofits navigate the waters of digital marketing since 2008. Sign up for the Bizmissive and you'll immediately receive a marketing checklist. Then you'll receive weekly emails (or however often you send it) with proven marketing strategies  . . . . (or whatever the newsletter includes) that will help you take your marketing to the next level."

Maybe some bullet points (I always think bullets makes for easier/faster reading comprehension)

Also if you have a logo, I would definitely include it on your landing page as well as on the sign up form. You wan’t to make sure your emphasizing your brand.

Hope some of that helps,

Christine
