Social Media Adjustments

As a customer who was using your social media area within our campaigns your recent update makes my life 5 times harder. Before it was a simple one push for all accounts now I have to go in and manually update each of our social media areas. This is a total pain as a customer who pays monthly 400 I will look at alternative solutions to do what I am looking for within our website.

After 10 years of being a business client, I am leaving constant contact and heading toward less complicated social sharing. The initial free Facebook postings of my Enews went away. The ability to clear all contacts that have never read my Enews....complicated. The ability to to lessen my 650 email list to only those that open my Enews the last three months.....complicated or impossible to do. Algorithm for that, probably, just not sharing it with us the client to make our business contacts easier to manage. So long Constant Contact.

@JoanB29 Sorry to hear this. So that I can best understand your feedback, was it your e-mail campaign you were attempting to share on social media? The current social share option is a free tool that is available for all customers.

sometimes we send emails to a specific list of preferred customers or others and we do not want to post the email on social share for the public to see. Your page makes it very difficult to send an email without social sharing. It is not user friendly.

Hi, For emails we copy from previous campaigns, it would be extremely helpful if the social sharing preferences were inherited in the copied campaign. We are finding we have to untick the number of times a campaign shares (changing option to 1 time doesn't stick across campaigns) and the channels it shares to. This takes a few extra minutes and, more importantly, leaves lots of room for error! Thanks for your consideration!

I do not like the way you post the campaigns that are created...when I see that same old same old on FB, I am not interested...it was much better when at least one of our own special photos was selected and posted. Your two or three repeat and do NOT attract attention.

Ugh, this new social sharing has multiple flaws, but this might be the worst one. The default should NOT make posts unwritten by account holders happen automatically just because one post was set up.

 

Unless the user selects and writes a schedule, automatic posting from the CC accounts should NEVER happen.

 

Default should be one post, and subsequent posts must be selected - and saved - in order to be enabled.

 

I had to delete two cheesy posts I didn't write (with 1990's clip art included, no less) that posted to our feed unwanted. Please, CC -- disable this immediately. We all are working so hard to carefully manage our brands and this kind of unwanted, automatically-posted content just isn't welcome.

Your new Simple Share program and changing our photos without our consent is bad. Change back to old system. I like change but not change that is a bad change. Dale

1. Would love to see the option of filing and archiving sent emails. This is so helpful when planning out future programs and is sorely lacking with the newer Constant Contact formatting. 2. I love the option of Social Sharing - HOWEVER - if there was a calendar to see ALL social sharing posts for ALL campaigns, that would be extraordinarily helpful. Right now, I can only see the posts per campaign so I have to be extra careful not to put a new social post next to or on top of a previous post scheduled from a week ago.

Hi, When I have the social share set it doesn't go automatically. Instead even after the email is sent it says the message in pending. I have to manually go in and share again. This is for Twitter. It doesn't work at all for Facebook. Can you please fix this glitch?
