We recently tried out posting one of our newsletters to Facebook as a test.
When Constant Contact pushed the newsletter to Facebook, we noticed the post in our company Facebook page basically was barebones.
The Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/smartfinds and is the first post about Hyperlocal Advertising. Unlike our other postings that include text and images, this was a bit surprising.
We clicked on the short URL link of that post and it took us to this web address:
This our newsletter and it has an image and text copy.
After looking at the HTML code of this Constant Contact page, we believe the problem is missing HTML code.
In this case...a DocType declaration at the top would be good....followed by the HTML tag opening and closing tags (top and bottom).
This can further be validated using the W3C HTML Code validator to see what is all wrong with this web page template.
Both of these are 5 minute fixes on the part of Constant Contact and hopefully it won't take a year for someone to resolve this problem.
Look forward to any feedback.
