Whether you are new to the community or a seasoned veteran, hello! Tell us a little bit about yourself, what you do, and what you hope to get out of your time here.
We can’t wait to get to know all of you!
It can be scary to put yourself out there, so I’ll bite the bullet and introduce myself first. Hi, my name is Nick Sermuksnis! I am the Social Media & Content Manager for the Community. I’ve actually been around these parts for several years now, wearing different hats such as providing direct product support to our customers and curating meaningful and fun content, like sweepstakes!
I don’t have a business of my own, but one of my favorite aspects of working for Constant Contact is learning about and helping the small businesses and nonprofit organizations that use our product. It’s a humbling experience, getting even a small peek behind the scenes of what it takes to make your dreams a reality.
When I am not glued to my keyboard, I am still glued to my keyboard. Well, the computer, at least. I am a budding digital artist in my spare time. My eyeballs are pretty fried at the end of the day, though. To compensate, I like to go on hikes, indoor rock climbing, and nature walks – really connect with nature, y’know? I’ve also been fortunate to do some traveling in recent years which has expanded my worldview. My wife and I have two cats that keep us busy, too. Well, one of them does, for sure. You know who you are.
My name is Megan and I am the owner of Heights Cycle, a local, independent indoor cycling studio. I aim for our clients to walk out feeling better than they did when they walked in. We do that through music, movement, and community. My favorite part of running the business is that no two days are ever the same. I am passionate fusing fitness and fundraising and especially love to raise awareness and funds for the causes that our community cares about.

One of my favorite aspects of Constant Contact is how easily it is for me to track users interaction, or the lack thereof, with our content. It's great to know that information so that we can target messages to those who would most likely interact with it. My business has been a Constant Contact customer for many years - although we took a break in 2020 - due to guess who...Covid!
When I am not at work, I am thinking about work and thinking about my next messages to users. I want to leave my business to my children, so therefore I am always thinking about it.

Hello! I'm Patty, Communications Coordinator for Rockdale Temple. I love the community that I work for!
My name is Jerry and I'm the "accidental techy" for my nonprofit organization, The Retired Police Officers Council. In addition to administrating to our CC needs, I also coordinate all of the other social media as relates to our organization. Our goal is just a bit different that most groups in that our membership qualifications are confined to one particular group of folks and that is retired law enforcement officers. In order to receive our communications and participate in our blogs and social media that are all private meaning not open to the general population but confined to current paid up members only, so I really don't have to worry about reaching out beyond our boundaries for new membership. In a certain way, that might be more difficult as we must convenience retired LE officers of the need to maintain their ties and contacts after they have retired. Every tried and reason with a bunch of old retired cops? Ain't so easy as I am one and understand the nature of the beast..grin. Now I must say something about CC and my dealing with them. Of all the companies that I deal with both on the internet and in person, brick and mortar, CC hands down provides the best customer service of any. This is no stretch of my imagination either. They are the most professional, most knowledgeable, most consistently friendly and patient of all that I must deal with in my capacity. Thank you CC for making me look good to the members of my organization.

Hi I am Jessy Carrara owner of LightGarden Glass Art for almost 40 years. I give classes, do commissions and sell retail glass and supplies for other glass artists. Constant Contact is an easy way to keep in contact with all of our clients and students when we have new classes scheduled or are having an event. We have been doing a project called Flowers of Hope for the last 19 years where our clients and students make small fused glass panels to be given to women with breast cancer. We collect them all year long and then deliver them to Women's Imaging at Asante so they can start distributing them to the women in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Before they are delivered we have an artists' reception here at the studio with all the panels on display and to celebrate the artists who created them. We have information on our website at www.lightgarden.net
We do a lot of correspondence through Constant Contact to promote awareness of this program and show pictures of the panels that were created for this project. Constant Contact helps us make a bigger impact through showing pictures and graphics.
