I am greatly disappointed that you are no longer allowing HTML editing. It was the single most useful tool, besides copying a previous campaign and updating it for the week or month, in everything you provided for campaign development.   To claim that allowing content creators to continue to use HTML editing can create problems in the emails is pretty condescending of you. I can look at my previews and see if things look the way I want them to look. I used to be able to check the code on my donate buttons to determine a solution to a complaint about one of them not working. I used to be able to insert and customize images and their precise placement in a block. I used to be able to customize font features within a sentence without having Constant Contact suddenly insert <p> where I absolutely did not want it. I used to be able to create and format my own lists to set into a text box without dealing with the limitations of Constant Contact formatting choices for the masses. I used to be able to do detail-specific tweaking in an application created for the masses.    I am unhappy with your New & Improved version of content creation with leaves me bound by structure and style that do not meet my needs. Please tell me how I can go back to a previous version of your software that supports the much desired by many, and much needed by many, that supports HTML editing.   You have done a great disservice to your users in your attempts to have a one-size-fits-all solution. The is a profoundly unwise solution knowing how this is counter to everything else CC is doing to make your emails mobile responsive. I think the problem is that small people with big egos are driving product development at CC. I would drop Constant Contact in a heartbeat (I already have for some clients) if it wasn't for your integration with other services that I use. ... View more

Hello @AngelaM9867    I do apologize for the inconvenience, I do see that occasional you use A/B Subject Line testing on occasion, this can create different types of reporting and take slightly longer to send.  Based on the numbers you have given it seems we may also be looking at the open number vs the sent number. Although all 315 emails can be shown as sent, only 150 contacts may have viewed the email yet, even though it is in their inbox. The last possibility is Email Staging, if you've recently discussed contact list size with a List Review specialist this could also be a possibility. ... View more

If you are still getting the error after using Notepad or TextEdit you'll need to re-type the text manually into the editor. We're sorry for any extra steps that are involved, however,  copying text from another source  can also copy problematic formatting or hidden code that doesn't work with our system. I have found that you have to go in to your Shopify theme section where it says "Edit Code."   1.) In your Shopify account, click on "Online Store." 2.) Then click on "Themes." 3.) If you click on the "Actions" button on your theme with the drop-down arrow, you can see the option to "edit code." Click that button. Then go to where it says "theme.liquid"  4.) After that, find after the <head> tag and paste your Constant Contact universal code there. Then click the save button. After that, it should take a minute or more. 5.) Try going to your website domain and see if it pops up then. Also, in Constant Contact under "Settings" for your Pop-Up code, you can set the timer to be 5 seconds, 10 seconds, or longer. The Marketing Advisor Service is on a month to month basis. Our Personal Marketer, and Full Service Marketing team are based on a contractual basis, which can be 3-month, 6-month, or Annual contracts with the Professional Services Team with the prices depending on the service. Hi @RuthR    I apologize you too are seeing your email being cut off in Gmail. Though it seems you are having an experience different than what this thread is focused on. Other users in this thread are seeing the footer information (the  unsubscribe, physical address, etc.) being hidden behind three dots. However through testing your most recent email, I can see in your case your email is being clipped due to length. Emails that are too content-heavy or exceeds 102KB in size will be clipped and show a "View entire message" link to read the rest of your email. Hello @LoriJ19972,   Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that the poll block method didn't yield the results you needed. Perhaps I can offer some insight and advice.   The poll block is directly tied into the coding of the email that tracks other information, such as opening the email, tracking who responds and how for RSVP blocks, etc. Due to this, if the email is forwarded to someone else, or if someone uses the shared email link, then the responses could be skewed.   For example, posting the email to social media is a good way to generate interest, but since we cannot track who clicked what through such a setup, the results of the poll would be anonymous (poll results would show a blank name area and unidentified in the email address area).   For your purposes, I might suggest using our survey tool and having required questions that ask for email address and names. This way, whether shared on social media or forwarded from the original recipient, the person taking the survey can still get their full information to you. Remember to turn on the ability to have multiple responses to ensure forwarded emails can also be used for sign-up!   You could also utilize a landing page sign-up form to collect such information as well.   If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to reply to this thread or create a new one, and we'd be happy to assist. ...
