The problem is not sending my newsletter to myself at gmail. I never even knew there was a promotional tab in gmail until someone at Constant Contact told me to look for my test email of the newsletter there. I'm sure that none of my contacts know about that either. I asked a few people and none knew about the promotional folder. It's not obvious or easy to find. That means that no one on my mailing list with gmail will ever see my newsletter. Someone at Constant Contact in the deliverability department told me I probably won't have the problem if I send from my own domain. I don't see the banner but I have a worse problem. When I send a test email to a gmail account, gmail puts in in a promotional inbox where no one will ever see it.   I never even knew I had a promotional inbox in gmail. To see it, I had to click on Categorie and then click on Promotions.   I'm sending from a corporate domain at GoDaddy. I added the name records at GoDaddy and self-authenticate my email address but gmail still sends Constant Contact emails to the promotional inbox.   If I can't get this fixed, I won't be able to use Constant Contact. ...
