Okay I see what you mean. Is there any option to 'swap' templates, so I don't have to start a new, wider template and waste time repopulating the whole thing with my current newsletter content or do I have to recreate the whole thing? Thanks for letting me know!

So these are three examples. All desktop. All Gmail. One is a test. One is an actual email. One is in the Constant Contact Editor. You can see the email is displayed only in a narrow column in the middle of the email window. Why can't I make it wider, so it appears bigger to the recipient? Thanks!

In the CC design editor, I'm able to use all the functions fine, and adjust spacing between text and pictures. Problem is, when I send it, there's WAY too much space on both the left and right sides. I want to make the whole thing wider/bigger.
