My story is similar to Lisa's. In 2007 I began organizing educational field trips, tours, and events for a few homeschooling friends. In August 2010, my uncle (a professional marketing consultant) recommended I use Constant Contact to help me better manage my growing list of friends. Today there are over 300 families on my list. I have not done any "marketing" to grow my list. Its simply by word of mouth and forwarded emails. As an example, in November 2011, I set up 5 field trip dates to a new planetarium in town. Each tour held 50 people (250 total) and there were 100 people on the waiting list! I am not set up as a business or non-profit. I am just a homeschool mom on a shoestring budget voluntarily offering my services to families in the Spokane, WA area. I am thankful that Constant Contact provides the services I need at a price I can afford.
