Will there every be an option for saved blocks? So many competitors have this as a norm and it sounds like we'll have to shift to a new provider given the amount of time it takes to create emails with CC.

You can setup default colorings (and other formatting) from the Design tab of the lefthand menu for different aspects of the email. If you need something different for a section that would fall under one of those categories, you'd need to manually change its formatting for background, text, etc.
