I'm having the same issue, but in a different application: I'm trying to make a button (or clickable image) where the email recipients can download a JPEG. It will not allow me to do this. It only allows for a PDF, which is not going to work for my demographic (elderly who can barely open their emails, let alone download a PDF and then save it as a JPEG). I need it to be a JPEG and not a PDF, but the only options on the "Link" dropdown menu are "Web page, Email, Document, Landing Page." I select Document, but that only allows for a PDF (again, NOT going to work for my clients) so there really should be an option to insert an Image (JPEG) in that Dropdown menu. But sadly, it will not present my uploaded JPEG as an option in the "Insert Link" popup box. This is extremely frustrating. haha. HELP!!!!
