It's possible there was a caching error happening on your other browser, and it may need to be cleared. For design and bandwidth-intensive websites such as ours, it can result in lots of images and files being cached by a browser, which after awhile could result in odd, little errors or connectivity issues.
When you have the chance would be able to check some of the following in regards to your original browser:
clear the cached images and files (not the history or saved passwords, just the cache)
make sure the browser is 100% up-to-date
See if there are any extensions / addons / plugins specific to the browser that might be causing issues with accessing certain aspects of our site
